Sneak Peek: Elite Dangerous Update!

Still play SWG, and it's good to know there's some ex-SWG players within SC. I rarely come across them, which is surprising.

2021-03-16 09:05:46 +0000 UTCThese were the same things I was watching for when the ED mission gameplay was first released. It was interesting to see what a ground mission could look like in SC with stealth, physicalised components, tools, combined arms and excellent environment art ;) although the ai in the full ED video im guessing are not going to be as advanced/realistic as SC when servers side stuff is sorted. Elite Dangerous is likely to attract players who want to experience a more easy going multi-player lite space sim, that could mean that some SC players who want that gameplay, play both.

2021-03-14 13:46:03 +0000 UTCIt's very interesting seeing stuff on ED as a star citizen player, if anything it shows the difference between the two games and how the scope of star citizen and it's single server for an entire system. Really adds something that ED just can't match. Full ship interiors and the fact that your player has to walk around and interact with all aspects of the game. Still makes SC my preferred space game. However these ground missions look very interesting and fun, and all I can hope for is that we get them in SC at some point.
