Slavoj can't alienate most of his audience and has been sliding into libtardism for at least half a decade now as soon as he's asked about current affairs. But this is mostly in interviews with media & breadtubers, both hopelessly retarded anyway. You can see though how his takes were not so bad before Trump, now he's more or less peddling communism is when the Govt does things for the collective & we need silent majority socialism, but before he rightfully criticized OWS for its leaderless anarkiddism and even demanded that the left take back Soviet values such as disicpline, strength, beauty, unity, etc, which he argued had been replaced by a kind of liberal cult of victimhood and (market oriented) individuality that made the left harmless and at most useful for color revolutions. On the other hand, his actual talks with other philosophers are pretty interesting and way more insightful, even if largely on a theoricel level. Great episode btw!

I think BogBeef overstates the value of the stay at home email job. As it happens I transitioned from running my own food distribution business to working a home email job in spring 2020. At first it was great. The pay was the same for way less hours, I had so much free time I picked up my guitar for the first time in 10 years, my little kids could come site on my lap while I answered emails and read Twitter. and I ate 3 meals a day with my family rather than out of gas stations. But after about a year I was sick of not having any strenuous physical aspect to my work, it felt bad getting paid to goof off, and spending my entire life within the feminine domestic domain was driving me crazy. So I quit and went to work at a hardwood flooring factory. I have no free time now and I come come tired and dirty but I wouldn't trade back. Actually my ideal would be 3 days doing manual labor, 2 doing home office work (kind of what running my business was like), but if I have to pick only 1 then it's definitely manual. That said, if it was a choice of home office or commuting to a cubicle, or if I was a single guy living alone then home office life would be a lot more appealing.
