The 'Cult Classic' Columbia GP3 Turntable

Anyone who's been here for a while will know that following one of the marathon efforts like the Dataplay demonstration last week, the subsequent videos usually end up being a bit simpler to give me a chance to get back on track.
So with that in mind - here's a look at a portable record player.
I did find enough time to add on a silly outro though for those that are interested.

2018-11-17 09:24:33 +0000 UTCUnfortunately there are a whole load of record players that use the exact same cheap mechanism, turntable/arm/stylus (it comes as a bundle) and they all perform identically as a result. I don't like this mechanism. You can always recognise it from a picture of a product by the red 'cartridge' on the end of the tone arm. That red is a sign of danger - a warning to stay away.
