TripleCorder - The Directors Cut

Today you‘ve got to witness the evolution of a video - (and the gradual breakdown of a man who thought this video was finished last night).

Version 1 - https://youtu.be/LMssgzVu4VU

The most interesting section of this first edition relied upon on something that unfortunately turned out just to be a misunderstanding.

Version 2 - https://youtu.be/Hz3g56qF5VE

In an attempt to remove some egg from my face - I did a re-edit that removed the nonsense sections, but unfortunately this resulted in the video as a whole becoming much less engaging and a bit flat.

Version 3 - The Directors cut (above)

This version adds back in the level of intrigue and confusion that was present in the original edition and takes it up a notch. This should hopefully be more fun for any viewers who (like me) didn’t know the secret behind the patent dates - but it also doesn’t end up misleading the viewer at the end.

I now know how George Lucas must feel - but this really is the final time I’m messing with this one...honest.

Brilliant! Where do you get all those old magazines and brochures from? You always seem to have exactly the right one handy when you need them to prove your point.

There’s always less than 1% leave a comment and 99% of them are nonsense. So there really isn’t much point in them, however if you turn them off, everyone goes insane. So better to leave them switched on and ignore them.

I was on youtube reading the comments about this.. (Yes, i know, too much free time!!) But now i´m getting depressed. How about the idea of closing the comment section on your videos? ;)
