Hell yeah, man! I fucking love October! It’s the spookiest month of the year and it’s awesome! The decorations, the atmosphere, the costumes, the Spirit Halloween stores moving into the husks of long-abandoned Toys R Uses, I love it! Sure, Halloween probably won’t be as much fun this year because of the pandemic, and also because of the pandemic I can’t jokingly try on costumes and stuff with my friends at Spirit and look like an asshole, but I refuse to let this 21st century hipster reboot of the Black Plague ruin my Halloween spirit! Let’s get spoopy, fuckbois!
Anyway…
So, calendar shit. This month we’ve got a pic of Daredevil, crossing his arms in front of his body in an x-shape while being surrounded by crows. This is apparently advertising Chip Zdarsky’s run on Daredevil, which I have not read. I read his Spectacular Spider-Man run and Spider-Man: Life Story, both of which were ok.
You know, with the year coming to an end soon I’m gonna need a new calendar. If it ends up being just a Spider-Man or Deadpool calendar or something I’ll probably stop these calendar updates if only because I won’t have anything too interesting to say about it each month. Just a heads up.
Now, let’s get to the actually important part of this: the poll announcement. If you’re new around here, first, hi, welcome, happy to see you here. Sorry that I take a while to get to the important stuff when it comes to these things; I wish I could say it’ll get better but it probably won’t. Second, and more importantly, here’s how this goes:
From now until the fifth, you can make suggestions for this month’s Patreon poll. Voting opens after that, and lasts until the tenth. Once voting ends, I get to work making whatever suggestion won, and then I’ll post it by the end of the month, assuming things go well on my end.
