Comic Update #1

Hey, remember when I said that when I got to $50 a month I'd make a comic that was initially exclusive to my Patrons and then when I reached $50 I gave a little spiel announcing my intentions with the comic and then didn't say anything about it? Well, I'm breaking my silence on this, first by explaining what's been going on and then giving you all a sneak peek at the script.

Alright, first up: an explanation. Short answer: life's been busy and the metaphorical personifications of life and responsibility have kicked me in the balls. Long answer: there's been a lot going on over on my end, from unending assignments from college to commissions to whatever crazy curveballs life throws at me. It's been a lot for me, and I haven't had much time to work on the comic. Also, a bit of a confession: the script is not yet done. I mentioned I'm in college. What I didn't mention is that I'm majoring in writing, and all my classes this semester are writing classes. After spending a day writing essays and whatnot about subjects I genuinely do not give a half of a microbe of a shit about, it's hard to get up the umph to sit down and write a script. So, the script writing's stalled, which means the art's stalled. 

Now, if you're worried about me abandoning this project like [insert reference to person or group who didn't do what they said after reaching Patreon or Kickstarter goals], don't be. I fully intend to do this. After this semester ends, I should, in theory, have more free time on my hands to write and make this comic. I also intend to post Patreon exclusive variant covers, because that might be fun.

Alright, now that I've got all that out of the way, let's get to the part you're all excited about: the script. I'm only posting the script for pages one and two of the comic, if only to prevent any spoilers. 

Page 1:

Panel 1: We see the inside of a room, but it’s blurry, and we’re only seeing it through an oval-like shape, almost like through the eyes of someone waking up.

Kathy (off panel): [music symbol] …Dead right, if the head right, Biggie there ery'night…[music symbol]

Kisstress (caption): What the…?

Panel 2: The inside of the room is less blurry, the oval shape’s bigger, and the view’s changed to Kisstress’s legs. She’s sitting in a chair of some sort.

Kathy (off panel): [music symbol] …Girls walk to us, wanna do us, screw us… [music symbol]

Kisstress (caption): What’s going on…?

Panel 3: Angle’s changed, room’s much less blurry, and the oval is almost gone. We’re also seeing Kathy now.

Kathy: [music symbol] …Biggie Biggie Biggie can't you see, Sometimes your words just – [music symbol]

Kisstress: Kathy? Is that you?

Panel 4: Everything’s clear now. Kathy’s turned to look at Kisstress, which, in this case, is basically breaking the fourth wall.

Kathy: Oh, hey Kisstress. You’re up.

Kisstress: Do you have any idea where we are?

Kathy: Well…

Page 2:

Splash page. We see the whole room now. Some chrome-looking lab-like place. We see both Kisstress and Kathy sitting in what appear to be 50s style hairdryer chairs, but more sinister. Also, Kisstress and Kathy are both strapped to these chairs.

Kathy: My guess? The stainless steel salon from hell. 

At the bottom of the page should be images of Kathy’s head, Kisstress’s head, and a silhouetted head. There will be words under each head.

Kathy’s head:

Kathy

Gets mind controlled a lot

Doesn’t seem to mind

Fun fact: Her favorite color is magenta

Kisstress’s head:

Kisses Kathy a lot

There is more to the script, even at this stage. As I said, I just don't want to spoil anything.
