New Patreon Rewards (and minor shifting)
Added 2017-01-16 12:30:31 +0000 UTCI've added two new Patreon Rewards, and shifted another to make it more accessible.
#1 - Everyone (>$1) now has access to Discord!
As mentioned in an earlier post, Discord is a text and voice chatroom that will allow you to join our Patreon community server. I encourage you to
a) Download the Discord program (or app) https://discordapp.com/
b) Connect your Patreon account to Discord http://bit.ly/2cVZdAa
c) When you open Discord you should be invited, and immediately assigned to the correct role. If this doesn't happen, check back later.
So far over 70 people have joined, and it's been really great chatting with you all :D
#2 - Firekeeper Patrons (>$5) will now receive Polls, in addition to other rewards!
This is the most popular tier. Considering I have had so much trouble working let's plays & twitch streams into my current workflow, it's only fair I add something else.
Recently Patreon has rolled out Polls, integrated into the site itself. It's now easier for you to vote in Polls about which videos you'd like to see next, and I get access to a bigger pool of patrons to poll (this was previously a $15 reward)
#3 Beacon Patrons (>$15) will now receive my Lore Notes, which form the basis of many videos!
Before I create a video, I create a colour-coded document with dialogue, item descriptions, environmental observations and my own Questions & Answers I want to address in the video.
I'll be sending out two Lore Notes to existing patrons, and i'll try to keep up this trend in the future as I continue to create.
And that's it! No patron is losing access to perks, and i'm introducing some cool new ones (especially Discord, it's where all the cool kids hang out).
