Kara Tur - Ruins of Malatra - Set 1

Greetings, adventurers, and welcome back to the viney terrain of the Malatra Jungles!
This time around we're headed to the ruins nestled in the tropics, with thickly-carpeted jungle foors and half-eaten mossy ruins inspired by Borobudur and the Akshardha! In this first set we're starting off with smaller ruins that can slot into a less specific campaigns. Next month though we'll be bringing monumental sets of ruins similar to the stepwell or pyramidal in structure.
First up though, is a set of lived-in ruins. Under the shadows of faded civilization is the multicolored beginnings of a new marketplace and village, serried against the remains of a leftover temple:
To the north is the ancient gate and temple-towers of the old administrators, and it's a rumor that in the many pagodas and gazebos strewn around the city is some lead to a subterranean world in which the ancients retreated...
In one of the variants, time has stood still, and only a murky water marks some sign of life!
To the south is the east-west crossroads that used to form the main body of this sealed temple-complex, which the new villagers have repurposed into a vibrant marketplace and the beginnings of a teahouse for travelers across the verdant vine:
Variants comes in rain and foggy, and fiery! This time around we've also included fey and summoning maps for those who want a cursed encounter!
Travelers to the area have posted persistent complaints of ghostly denizens that come up when the moon is dark...
