A Jets fan's guide to happiness (plus Sunday picks!)

Thank you all for your patience with me while I finished today's Film Room episode on the state of the Jets. I published it (very) late last night at around 2:00 AM, so some of you may have seen it already. But just in case you didn't, I've posted it here!

Unfortunately I passed out last night at around 3:00 AM and didn't wake up until about a half an hour ago, so I do not have time to type up analysis for each individual game this week. But I still want to at least get my picks out for the Sunday slate of games so that you can all see how I do to finish the season! I went 3-1 over Friday and Saturday against the spread (thank you for coming up clutch for me, Niners), so let's see if I can keep that hot streak going for today's games as well!

Let me know if y'all have any questions in the comments below and I would be happy to answer them!

Brett, I am not sure where to post this question to you so I am putting it here. I just watched the Justin Jefferson video which is great. I appreciate your work. In watching the video and many dozens of NFL games a year, why do the defensive backs not block, push or hit the wide receiver coming off the line to disrupt the route? I know in the old days, playing press coverage a lot of times the DB would push or hit the receiver. I thought it was legal within 5 yards of the line. I am especially curious why DB's who have safety coverage over the top do not use this technique. In today's quick [ass timing game, it would seem to me to be an occasional tool to disrupt the timing of the play.

What is everyone’s thoughts on the Eagles, Washington game?
