Strigoi - Vampires That Preform a Horrid Ritual Can Unlock The True Power Within Them

Mysteries surround vampire origins, with some attributing their creation to an ancient vampire or a powerful demon. Regardless, a dark tome penned by ancient, formidable vampires holds the key to self-manipulation, achieved through a ritual channeling necrotic forces via a blood pool surrounded by strange runes. During this three-month process, clerics and paladins are sacrificed during full moons, followed by three staked vampires on the final day. The subject of this ritual dies with the staked vampires but resurrects as a Strigoi, immune to traditional vampire weaknesses.

Strigoi possess greater power, heightened emotions, and unleash darkness-infused strength. They command undead minions and guard vast territories, eliminating rival Strigoi. They maintain a human appearance and live among aristocracy, concealing their macabre trophies. In dire situations, they transform into a formidable beast of darkness, capable of unsettling even arch liches. Strigoi use blood to calm their emotional volatility, averting potential catastrophes in their territories.
