Barwick - Horrible Creatures Pose as Lions and Bargain With The Desperate

They possess enough planning skills to collect gemstones, gold, and magical items despite having no personal use for them, as they could be used as trap material or as bargaining chips. Those forced to live near Barwicks are constantly wary of raiding, stay far away from lion prides, and keep a careful eye on those with wealth since they may have bargained with a Barwick.
Almost every Barwick lives among lions and seem to actually care for them. Due to their magic, these lion prides often grow under the optimal climate conditions and often will even allow multiple males to live in a single pride so long as the Barwick is leading them.
For reasons unknown, all Barwick hate hags and will risk abandoning their pride just for the chance at slaying an Annis Hag. It is said that when a hag is killed by a Barwick her evil essence lingers within the Barwick making them more cruel for the next year.
