A Petal Among Thorns - Chapter 4 Bug Fixes
Added 2021-11-29 13:45:59 +0000 UTCI've done some major work on APAT recently to fix some of the issues with the latest release. It's important to me that you guys have the best experience possible with Petal and in the last release, I failed on multiple levels. This re-release of Chapter 4 has quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and lots of grammatical and spelling error corrections.
- LewdFX volume slider was removed. I've combined Sound and LewdFX so the volume slider will adjust both. I'm not sure if there's an error with Ren'Py or if I'm doing something wrong but every attempt to make LewdFX have its own volume slider has failed. This was the best solution I could come up with.
- Persistent Names and Title have been added. When you customize the names and titles of the characters, they will transfer over to replays now.
- The option to change the name of the MC and the relationship titles is now easier to find within the preference menu. You'll have to be in game to access this.
- Bug fixes, grammatical and spelling error fixes, minor UI improvements.
- Chester's shadow now has a head in a render where he and Petal are walking up to Chuck's house.
I'm terribly sorry about these errors. If I ever reach a point where I can afford an editor, I'll certainly hire one to catch as many of these issues before release as possible.
If you've already played through Chapter 4, there is no new content.

I really enjoyed ep 4 of APAT. Thanks for the updates as I know when I do a full playthrough from ep 1, these improvements will make APAT even more enjoyable!
