Progress Report - 07/04/2021

Dear Supporters, 

A Petal Among Thorns Chapter One is complete. I slid the build over to a coder who is putting together some neat features for the game before I release it. It'll probably be Tuesday when it comes out. It's taking longer to release than I'd planned but it'll be worth it in the end because I was able to stuff some great content into it and we're even going to have some awesome features to boot.

With that finished, we're moving into a new phase. I know a lot of people are concerned about release delays because I'm working on two projects now. If Petal's game does well, I'll get extra support so I can hire outside help to offload some tasks which will reduce my workload. The idea is that releases will happen just as fast as they always have, or faster,  except there will be two games instead of one. I assure you, you're getting more and not less here. I've even already hired on a coder which is leaving me more time to work on writing and renders. 

The Progress Tome above is an outline of what I'll be working on in the coming weeks for Penny for Your Thoughts. I'll start working on Petal's second release after I've gotten some feedback on it. After you've chosen to view the story from Penny or Cassian's perspective, we're going to change from Third Person Omniscient to Third Person Limited where you'll learn things as the MC you've chosen learns things. The Prologue introduced you to the characters, now you'll follow a single character into the future of the story.

A Petal Among Thorns is a much more traditional AVN in this market. It's first person, there's a taboo dynamic, much less drama than I'm known for and a lot more teasing and sexiness. The negative is that it's only one girl right now. I always hated when AVNs focused on eight girls at a time because I'd typically tunnel in on one girl and everything else felt like wasted renders and wasted writing. But I also think I might be in the minority on that thinking. When A Petal Among Thorns is released, please give me all your thoughts on it so I can go into the future giving you more of what you want and less of what you don't.
