Yes, Tarantino’s next movie is Death Proof. However, I would highly recommend you look for the double feature of this. Grindhouse. Planet Terror/Death Proof. It’s currently steaming on all platforms (Apple, Prime, Google play…etc). The only reason it’s recommended is because these two movies are connected to each other. Plant Terror was directed by Robert Rodriguez. Some of his movies include, Desperado, From Dusk til Dawn, Alita: Battle Angel, and Sin City. From movies I recommend you check out at some point. The whole double feature is very campy and fun and I know you’ll enjoy it . https://youtu.be/myloMWbVumo?si=ZJUn0L7q9djp-L4y

2025-06-21 12:05:52 +0000 UTCYour next Quentin Tarantino movie is Death Proof (2007). Since that movie is part of the Grindhouse Double Feature (2007), I highly recommend watching Planet Terror (2007) first. #PlanetTerrorForCamillaAlmond

2025-05-14 02:44:49 +0000 UTCah yes that's why the name was familiar! I didn't really recognize him though, his look was so distinctly different from Mr. Blonde 😂

2025-05-13 01:39:38 +0000 UTCYou might have recognized Michael Madsen/Budd as Mr. Blonde, the crazy ear cutter from Reservoir Dogs. That & this are arguably his most famous roles. Plus he's in The Hateful Eight and the Vincent role in Pulp Fiction had been originally written for him. He's one of a number of actors who Tarantino worked with many times, you'll probably start to notice even more as you go on.

2025-05-13 00:17:15 +0000 UTCThese movies are super-cool and your reactions to both have been AWESOME. Budd shot Beatrix with a non-lethal shotgun blast of rock salt. This would have hurt like hell at close range and broken the skin causing bleeding but it was not intended to kill her. It is often used against wild animals. Did you notice from the credits that two of the actors played a different role in each volume? Gordon Liu played Pai Mei and appeared in Volume 1 as Johnny Mo, leader of the Yakuza gang The Crazy 88's. Michael Parks played the retired pimp Esteban Vihaio. Parks appeared in the first film as Texas Ranger Earl McGraw. Pai Mei is based on Pak Mei, the originator of the "White Eyebrow" kung fu technique. According to legend, Pak Mei was one of the few Masters left following the decimation of the Buddhist temples. He later sold out other Masters to save himself. For this reason, Pak Mei Kung Fu has always been known as the "forbidden technique", and Pak Mei has been a villainous figure in Chinese folklore and film, for hundreds of years. The movie that B.B. chose to watch was Shogun Assassin (1980). It was edited and compiled from the first two films in the Lone Wolf and Cub series, dubbed in English for an American audience. Shogun Assassin's extreme violence almost caused it to be banned in the UK. Kill Bill: Vol. 1 - Battle Without Honor or Humanity - Tomoyasu Hotei https://youtu.be/okR1sOM4jI8

2025-05-12 12:12:14 +0000 UTCNatural Born Killers is an Oliver Stone film. Camilla is doing the movies directed by Tarantino, which is why she didn't do True Romance or From Dusk Till Dawn.

2025-05-12 07:20:19 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this. I don't think I'd watched the movie all the way through since its first run in theaters. I've seen a bunch of reactions but the YouTube edits leave stuff out that I'd largely forgotten. I very much look forward to your "Basterds" reaction! And I will have to watch "Natural Born Killers" if you react. I was just starting as a new assistant professor when that came out and missed it. But Woody and Juliette Lewis are always excellent.

2025-05-12 05:11:15 +0000 UTCI think most guys of my generation (teens in the '70s) would have immediately identified David Carradine as Bill. He was at that time probably best known for the TV series "Kung Fu," a martial arts western starring Carradine as a Chinese immigrant rescuing good people in peril.

2025-05-12 04:57:34 +0000 UTCRock salt in shotgun shells is a non-lethal deterrent that some ranch owners might use against coyotes or puma. I don't know if these can be purchased or if the shells must be hand-loaded using rock salt instead of the typical buck shot pellets. Just imagine salt inserted forcefully into a wound - that's what an animal or person would experience. The first time I watched "Kill Bill: Volume 2" I laughed at the final showdown of Kiddo and Elle, as the latter repeatedly tried to draw her Hanzo blade from its scabbard but was unable to do so in the narrow confines of Bud's trailer. I was completely caught off guard when Kiddo made her final winning move. She's a plucky protagonist!

2025-05-12 04:57:29 +0000 UTCLet's give Camilla a round of applause for officially completing Kill Bill! 👏👏 Happy Sunday. Another Quentin Tarantino movie completed. BTW, I like your top. It looks good on you.

2025-05-12 03:32:32 +0000 UTCBud shot Beatrice with a shotgun loaded with rock salt rather than metal pellets. The salt penetrated her breasts, which is like rubbing the wound with salt, without having to rub the wound.
