2025-01-22 09:14:29 +0000 UTCI don't think I've ever seen someone who dislikes this episode. And it's normal because it is awesome. It is very funny but, as you pointed out, there is more to it. I am amazed by the writing in BTVS. Even the "filler" episodes are related thematically with the main story. As usual you analyzed it well and I agree that this episode is very important for the development of Willow as a character. Even if we don't see her a lot, Faith's story is progressing well. Her character is the most interesting thing for me in season 3. I always love when the backstory of "evil" characters is mentioned but at that time, it was the first time I saw a character that was established as a "good guy" on the path of becoming a vilain. By the way, the song at the Bronze is "Virgin State of Mind" by the Belgian rock band K's Choice. I discovered them because of BTVS (and they are not the only ones). I'm glad that creating these videos has become your full-time job and I am happy to contribute to it through Patreon. The first weeks of 2025 had been difficult for me and your content allow me to think about something else for a while. Your journey through this show is both entertaining and interesting. Definitely tons to say about empowerment in this one, and self-confidence.Kudos to you for spotting the Buffy/Faith parallel at the end of the fight. Buffy has control where Faith has instability, so she's able to pull back at the last second whereas Faith wasn't.
