Just finished the series and I'm sitting here sobbing. The game itself is powerful, but the Brady Ending even more so. It wasn't as difficult for me, as a viewer, to get through the game, because I could rely on your constant presence for safety, empathy and analysis. But I realise that's parasocial, and at the same time you sat there with your computer and your kitties, being a companion helping others through their trauma, much like at your job as a therapist, but not receiving that same comfort back. It feels a bit odd to get to know you like this while we're just a faceless crowd, but I hope that you can still see the real people you have touched in a very real way. Thank you for sharing the literally-talking-to-yourself method. I don't know if I'd ever have the courage to face my recordings, but I think I'll try this to make sense of my own thoughts. :) Most of all, the raw pain in your voice in the recordings you shared broke my heart - please accept this virtual hug. I hope that nowadays you can be this kind and supportive companion to yourself, but also that you have tons of people fulfilling that role for you, so that you don't always have to be the one giving out care. Thank you and please do take care of yourself, Brady!

2025-10-16 21:46:13 +0000 UTCThe true terror of Sunny, is not a manslaughter. It is, that, Mari, acted very mean to Sunny, exactly like what Sunny's twisted mother or father would do. That, was, NOT an experience that Sunny could handled. He denied it, and result is, as shown in the end. This is why Mari is always a 'passive NPC' in headspace. Sunny, is not willing to think about Mari without her "shining persona". And what is the worse than true terror? Sunny, eventually, realized, that, Mari never meant to be mean to Sunny, like what Sunny and Mari's parents would do. Mari, was also a victim of child abuse, and Sunny killed the only person who can withstand this hardship with Sunny, and will be on Sunny's side, simply because Sunny never accepted that Mari, was also a kid, abused kid, just like Sunny. Sunny fears, and is feels guilty about, that he treated Mari like what their parents would treat Sunny. Treated not as family, but as an object, a perfect figurehead.
