Sasquatch Saturday!

We're very excited to be releasing Squatch Your Step, a Sweeps Week mystery for Brindlewood Bay. It was written by Michael Van Vleet, with layout by Ben Mansky, and art by Cecilia Ferri. The Mavens are headed into the woods of the Empire State to participate in a local custom, and finally answer the question... is Bigfoot real?

The woods of Whitechapel, New York, ring out once a year with hooting calls as attendees of Bigfoot Days compete to deliver the best "authentic" sasquatch cry.

All afternoon, "squatch callers" roar their best Bigfoot cries from the outdoor performance stage. Kids and adults in paper Bigfoot masks applaud and eat hot dogs supplied as part of a motorcycle club's fundraiser. Suddenly, a cry is heard: "A sasquatch grabbed Champlain Bellows! He's missing!" The RV provided to last year's Bigfoot cry champion is trashed, its door off its hinges.

So, did a sasquatch abduct Champlain Bellows, or is a human being attempting to cover their tracks with a Bigfoot hoax? Play to find out!
