Pocket-Sized Play - The Woodlands (Mouse Guard) Sneak Preview

We will be re-launching Pocket-Sized Play very soon. This new iteration of the show will help us accomplish something we have wanted to do for a very long time: share our Gauntlet Hangouts sessions with a wider audience. 

Presently, we do not make the audio or video from our Hangouts sessions widely available. There are several different reasons for this, but it mostly comes down to presentation. To record and edit AP that matches the quality of our other podcasts would take an extraordinary amount of effort and time. And yet, we know people want to hear how our games go. 

Fraser Simons and I have been working on a solution. He has offered to edit the YouTube audio from some of our Hangouts games, removing pauses and chit-chat,  adding some music cues, and breaking the sessions into 20-30 minute segments. YouTube audio isn't has high quality as if we were recording on separate tracks, but it's easier to work with, and it allows us to get the editing done quickly. 

As a sneak preview, I have the first three episodes of  The Woodlands (Mouse Guard). These three episodes, taken together, represent the first full session of the game we ran for Saturday Morning Cartoons in January. I think you're going to like it. You get a very good sense of how I run my table, you learn a lot about the game iteself, and the players really bring it in terms of their roleplaying. After Fraser sent these to me, I devoured them one after the other. So enjoyable. 

As always, these are just a prevew and don't necessarily represent the final product that will go in our podcast streams. However, I would love to hear what you think.
