Sorry to bother you all with yet another poll, but as I said on the previous one, this one has also been on my mind for a while now. A personal demon / pet peeve of mine.
I like making branching dialogue and offering a lot of flavor and choices, but I've been wondering if it's more work than its currently worth. More branches and different character reactions and paths, no matter how minor, take quite a while to write out. Especially when it comes to the random events. Writing some random dialogue for a club room took hundreds of rows of text, but the player probably blows through it in a minute or two (though they will see it multiple times).
Would you guys rather see more lewd content but with less choices and branches? Or...should I just carry on carrying on as it is?

For me it's always about gameplay. I like choices and more content. Wider and more replayability is always preferred to more linear content. I absolutely dislike Kinetic novels. And Sandbox games, which force you to do stuff in a specific order is not much better. The more a game (even adult game) goes into branching out and making that interesting, the more I like it. Your game has quite a few good gameplay options (management, choices, etc.) and making the different branching elements feel different would be very nice to have.

It's actually a non-erotic wet dream of mine to have people suggesting/writing small, big or random events for the club and the school/classes. So yeah, I encourage modding and content creation. And if you're up for it, send those non-scene labels you've written. I'd love to read 'em, and maybe edit or publish them if you're okay with that. Of course, you will be credited thanks in the credits (I'll have to make some credits first tho).

Basically a stop/continue choice, the continue being a skillcheck (maybe the fail decreases their affection) and you can revisit to unlock more as stats increase. Perhaps there are a couple of choices within that that increases stats too. Like options 1 and 2 do the same thing, but option 1 needs less skill kind of thing. The illusion of choice, if you will. Though not too much, I find it really annoying in games where you have to revisit the same scene 16 times to finally get the last part of it unlocked. However, for the flavour stuff in the management side, I do like having different choices that allow me to focus train my girls, or receive different bonuses. That said, I'm less concerned overall about those vs main story/lewd - and they can be added in retrospectively once the storyline stuff is further implemented or even left to the modding community. Actually, I'd be more than happy to create a few generic non-scene events for the club in a similar vein to the current disgruntled customer one to add a bit of variety. I already created myself a couple; whether they are up to scratch with your standards or not is another thing. But perhaps that could be a way to get more variety to the hostess club without overburdening yourself, ask the community to submit a label for an event. The particularly good ones you may even decide to add renders for at a later date.

Choices can be good in the shape of exploring characters you like whilst ignoring those that disinterest you. However, having each character be able to be developed in a ton of different ways based on your actions is cool, but it will also lead to extremely slow development. Therefore, I personally think at least in the beginning having just more content would be preferable.
