2025-07-15 18:00:49 +0000 UTCSo for the moment of pause when Emilia looked into the mirror and the scene of her reflection in the water, leading to her saying "I look less like Mother Fortuna than I thought" it's not stated in the anime, but in the novel, Puck made one thing to protect her mentally and her psyche. Since she woke up after being frozen for so long and grew to an adult body, when she got out, one of the clauses in the contract she had with Puck was that she would not look at her own reflection. Imagine if yourself as a 6 years old kid, suddenly woke up the next night as your current self, when you see yourself in the mirror. That'd be a major shock psychologically. It's the first time, thanks to this Trial, that she was able to see herself.
