There are some great fights on the next arc as well that will put you on 10 like this fights. But I have to say, this is probably my top fights in anime history. The build up, tension, emotions and dialogues are top tier. Ippo will be forever be in my top list of sports anime.

But the Red Eyes that Hawk showed us and the Blue Eyes that Takamura showed us too has deeper meanings… Hawks Red Eyes meant the Bloodlust Ecstasy that PsychoKillers feels when killing a weaker prey. That’s why he was "Smiling" and feeling his body "Hot"… But in Takamura side, this Blue Eyes represent the Genuine intent of Survive. And epitomes of this comes from being cornered almost to be death... We know how much Takamura had to suffer… We know he’s short tempered and all of that… And still (not even in high school) he never show this side to anyone. Only here, and probably when he was fighting that Bear… Only 2 moments in his life where Takamura was so cornered (and thinking he was gonna die) that this KILLING INTENT is so awesome… 2 Killing Intents… We love Takamura. I don’t know if there’s another Killing Intent like this from another fighter in the series (maybe Sendo, idk) but yeah. Best Sport Anime Ever.🫂
