Cathedral Update.

Hi all,  After doing "nothing" for a month i started the cathedral again with full ambition.

I don't remember what the last update was so i just grapped some (poor quality) screenshots.

Release notification and update.

Hi all.

It was week of pain but the test print of the big nun statue succeeded.  Release will be tomorrow morning!

The statue comes in 4 parts (Wings, Base and body) so even people with small printers can manage.

Anyway.    Also made some statues for the facade/walls of the cathedral. (There are going to be lots more of these specific details.) These wil also be an separate release. (Because the entire cathedral is taking a long time)

Hi all.   Since the Cathedral project is so extensive I decided to do a a partial release on them. (3 stage)

Hi All.   Here's an update.  I think i need 1 extra weekend to finish,

Tiles and stones will be added in the last step so the walls and floors are al little smooth right now.

Maybe i can add a cannon somewhere?

During my vacation i started something to improve renders for the shop. (Background).

I'm still blocking out most of the cathedral. After the main shape is done i'll add detail like texture to the walls, loose stones, cracks and offcourse it's going to be a ruin.

Hi All.

I needed to make some changes to the model because the brushes where much to thin.  (It printed but it wasn't nice to look at and very fragile)  So i upped the sizes to what was still pleasing to the eye and tested the print again.

I also scaled up some of the other parts in lychee.  Nu structural editing was needed on those parts.  It printed alright but it was just to small to handle.  :)

Hi all.

It’s been quite an ordeal and almost 2 months in the making but it’s finally done.

Final files are being printing as we speak but I’m very confident I can judge the validity of the files tonight.

The supports worked very nice on the parts already printed. Even with some of the cheaper resins.

It’s all thin micro supports so it’s just tearaway/velcro for most part.

Update after a week of silence.

To save a few bucks I decided to do the pre supporting for the "big robot knight" myself.   It is a BIG piece with lots of parts so it was going to be expensive.

furthermore this way I can fix some structural/scale issues while supporting which will not get addressed by another pre supporter. (Simple because they do not have the source files)

So overall I think/hope you will get better quality files.  I however hope you like my ...

fixed the banner and the loinschield.   Completed mounting of shoulder turrets.

Added a shield, sword and flamer.  Finished carapace with loads of ornaments. (It was blanc) Added empty shield, Decimated al parts and made them print ready.

Dear all.

As most of you already know.

I have some other jobs next to this and therefore doing Patreon is mostly my weekendjob.  (About 16 hour days on Sunday and Monday.)

Monday is my part time day and Saturday is family time.

Thats also the main reason why updates are usually on Monday and PM's are answered.  (Yes sometimes Tuesday morning)

However this weekend there was a calamity on my other job with forced me to work long days in the weekend ...

Almost Done.

Roof still needs to be done en perhaps some tweaks.  Also want to make some more weapon options.
