I think its lowkey implied that the white whale kinda just wanders around everywhere so just unlucky for the gang. But also it was foreshadowed earlier and Subaru ignored it

I believe she was curious to see how far he would go, how much he was willing to disgrace himself in order to get what he wanted, and then she was disgusted when she realized that he really was going to lick her foot. I love how mysterious Beatrice is at this point in the story! She says all these cryptic things to Subaru and we have no idea what she's talking about, but it just makes us more curious to know what her deal is. Also, the ending song, Stay Alive, is sung by Emilia's voice actress, Rie Takahashi!
