To me, the glare that Miyuki gave Eijun was about him saying there's nobody holding them back. But I could be wrong lol

I think he just focuses on throwing as good as he can but when things like this happen he defaults back to comparing himself to others. Most likely Furuya and him saying there's no one slowing them down anymore was likely just a manifestation of that insecurity. His time at Seidou has honestly affected his self confidence more than you'd think. I do love that even though he was clearly hurting and upset, he would never let it get in the way of him supporting the team anymore. In season 1 he would've gotten quiet and upset and not cheered anyone on but not now. Not 2nd year ace Eijun. Now he's gonna cheer until he dies and I love that for him. I also think this is the angriest we've seen Miyuki in a game lol for a decent amount of time at least. He was pissed and that homerun was so personal 😂
