2023-06-18 05:06:54 +0000 UTCFor real Rei is for sure MVP top tier waifu and she has the eye for talent she was actually scouting for Chris when she noticed Miyuki and Eijun was literally a diamond in the rough the fact she saw potential in him she at least deserves a title like head of scouting and I think I know why I put Koushuu above Miyuki as my favorite catcher Miyuki is great and like a mentor to Eijun but I love Eijun and he is essentially the same thing for Koushuu a Senpai and mentor and I just love their relationship and how much he looks up to Sawamura Senpai

Koushuu it's baseball my boy 🤣 I love knowing that the team trusts Eijun and that they all support him and have his back. It's something we've known for a long time but it's always so nice to hear it. I honestly don't think people give enough thought into how damaged Eijun has been from all these low moments in the past. Not only is the yips incredibly traumatizing as it is but Sawamuras had his confidence really battered in this series so the fact that he continues to stand up and try again is nothing short of incredible if you ask me.

In the finals, Eijun asked to continue pitching, and now, Eijun declared that he'd continue pitching— he made a statement and put his foot down, claiming the mound as his. An ace-like mentality, imo.

I opened my laptop right away to watch it!! Soooo glad you watched these 2 episodes together!! Huhu Another fave episode 😭😭😭😭 Aaaaa that “相棒“ moment is one of my favorites ever, and I even drew the manga panel of it because I love it that much!! Sawamura being a senpai really hits different 😭😭😭 We have to thank Rei for bringing Eijun to seido huhuhu Best girl saw the potential in our best boyyyy 😭😭😭😭💪🏻 so so proud of him

2023-06-15 18:34:45 +0000 UTCthis episode is so good man, from eijun calling koshu 相棒 (aibo) just like miyuki did when he first met sawamura to rei talking about his middle school days, pure chills. to elaborate a bit on the aibo thing: "It's like friends, but it's usually not a lets-go-to-movie-together kind of friendship. 相棒 is someone who you trust and "get the job done" with." also funnily enough, the real summer tournament (the qualifiers, not koshien) are set to begin in the next two weeks as well.

2023-06-15 18:32:10 +0000 UTCalso the reason why they were showing his legs is to show that he worked on his leg muscles so that he could still pitch by changing his form so that his legs are used more and there is not so much strain on the elbows while pitching which is in itself it's so difficult to change your form in just a year completely
