Kushida is utilizing a classic gaslighting technique. She showed her "other self" and then almost immediately turned it off after threatening Ayanokoji. Being constantly sweet now is a form of manipulation, in my opinion, designed to make him question if he really saw what he saw. Also, she walked away from everyone to let that side out. But if she lets it out every time she's around Koji, even if she thinks they're alone, it increases the likelihood of someone else overhearing or seeing her. As for Sudo, Class C is the first hurdle that Class D would have to overcome. If there is such an obvious weak link, someone who is clearly not particularly well-liked, obviously not terribly intelligent based on his grades, and has a habit of being abrasive, aggressive, and hot-headed, then of course he's be the target. Taking him down could potentially tank the whole class without Class D even realizing it, and he'll probably play right into your hands if you can bait him.
