Furuya has plenty fundamentals what you talking about? They just arent the same as Eijun's because they are different pitchers with different forms. He didnt fail because of lack of fundamentals or his Koushien performance would have never happened. He failed because he got in his head and FORGOT his fundamentals. They say this in the series as well.

another thing to note is the fact that they highlighted the tightening of his glove grip during his pitch. Something so fundamental that the coach took the time out to teach Eijun he's never forgotten. Now look at Furuya who has really no fundamentals other than having a heavy handed pitch, this is part of Furuya's inconsistencies.

I dont think it was Miyuki he was mad at. He can't see what Miyuki is calling for from the bullpen. And really, if that was happening its not really a reason to get mad like that. Furuya wasn't pitching well from the start so there weren't safe pitches or safe calls from the start of that game.

Eijun was definitely mad over Furuya's pitching, but I think he was also just as angry with Miyuki. He was the one who said, "If the catcher calls the pitches that were safe in the beginning, the batters will eventually adjust." - Eijun was seeing that happen in real time with the Ichidai batters and Furuya.
