Wanted to give you all an update on development.
1. I've finished updating the overall UI. The entire system is now coherent, with menus, battle and message window using the same style.
2. I've update the dialogue system. Character bust conversations now include ALL people involved, and Bogwort will be present beside Aylia. It's Friday, so time for an update. Not much to show off for this update, but I did have an epiphany this week on how to put Aylia's sex stats in the game. I worked on the UI for it yesterday and will spend some time on it this evening/weekend. When it's done, I'll update this update with an image of the screen and an explanation. My new year's resolution is to get a couple Aylia's Story releases done.
I wrote a brief blurb earlier, but I realized it doesn't convey things very well. So, I'm going to try to do better. 2024 was a failure for Aylia's Story. Just wanted to post another proof of life post. I'm here and I'm still working on the game. My only goal remains to get a release out by the end of 2023. This year has not gone the way I'd have liked, but if I can get this next release done to my satisfaction and out the door, it'll be something worth celebrating. Sorry about not making a month end post. I had planned on posting the public release, but I'm waiting on a fix for the battle HUD. Given that it's now already the 11th, I figured I needed to update you guys.

Just another quick update since I'm pretty excited. Got two plugins commissioned and the battle system is coming along. I've finished almost all the HUD components and have them in place and working. There are a few commissions left to do to get Bogwort's functionality in place and to get it so Aylia's portrait changes when her outfit is exploited, but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming together.
