I knew that voice sounded familiar. I really do like how different yet similar these 3 characters are portrayed.

2023-01-16 21:58:44 +0000 UTCOlmar's Va also voices Tanaka from Haikyuu. Olmar is a contrast to both Thorfinn and Einar, being a spoiled and privileged "free" man. But from Olmar's perspective, he's not "free" to follow his own path, his path has been chosen for him to inherit his father’s farm. It is interesting that we have these three characters - Einar who is angry both at the Danes and himself for his inability to protect his family; Olmar who feels trapped in obligations he does not want and who is seeking “fame” through battle. And then we Have Thorfinn who has seen so much bloodshed (on both sides), who spends so much time out for revenge but in the end had so little left - no purpose, no family/friends and is who is stuck with his past demons. It will be interesting to see where their individual development goes. PS. I am anime only.
