Preview - Trial of a New Segment

Hello Patrons!

I have something rather special to share with you today. I had this as an idea for the new video as it involves weather being a key component, I had this idea to do a segment of the video in the style of a televised weather report. This is certainly a first for the channel, never before have I actually appeared in a video its usually just my voice so I think for many this may be something of a "face reveal".

I thought I would share this 7 minute preview of that very segment with you today as the full video may still be 2-3 days away. Please let me know what you think, especially if you are a meteorologist... or live in Texas.

If people like this idea, maybe we'll look into the "weather reporter character" who I've named as "Eleanor MacCloud", we'll look into her being a more regular thing for weather related segments.

I actually think that once this is all edited up, this could be the longest Disaster Breakdown Episode yet! It might (no promises yet), might close in on the 45 minute mark.

As is already mentioned in this video, the video subject is about Braniff International Airways flight 352. I hope to bring you the full video by Tuesday.

Feedback is always appreciated and some tweaks to this may still be done, thank you all so much for the support.

I know this is a couple months late! I really enjoyed the weather report! I took a meteorology class when I went back to school as an adult. I thought it would be an easy class. Au Contraire! It was very difficult. I've always been a weather geek, so it was nice to learn about weather systems in greater detail. I love how you explained the formation of a CB. My professor was a Met. for ORD, and before that he was a Met. in the Navy. I learned that humidity doesn't really mean much, but dew point does. The dew point is the absolute measure of water in any given column of air, and if the dew point is approaching 70 F, it's going to be uncomfortably humid. Learning about condensation nuclei was also news to me....Raindrops form around dust particles, or ice crystals from further up in the cloud. Then there's super-cooled raindrops....if you ever get a chance to take a meteorology course, I highly recommend it!!
