everyone was led to believe that there are 4 more buildings worth of people that are better than them. this is not the case as everyone believed that they were in building 5 because building 1 - 4 never existed. so there's actually five building 5, if you get what i mean since all 275 players thought they were in the bottom rank. so the players you saw is the entireity of Blue Lock. those were all the players. Players from building 1 - 4 didn't join because they never existed.

2022-12-19 21:48:20 +0000 UTCNo, there are 5 buildings, but Ego told every building that they were the lowest ranking building. So there were 5 teams Vs, 5 team Zs etc. We haven't met Itoshi Rin before, because he is from team V of a different building.

2022-12-19 19:28:20 +0000 UTCSo what happen here is, we all thought the 5 building in Blue lock is building 1 (A-E) and to building 5 where Isagi at V-Z, but it turn out Ego lied to them there never have any team higher than team V, the 5 building in Blue lock is all called building 5 insted 1,2,3 and 4 and the building in blue lock are team V-Z. So building 1 team V to Z building 2,3,4 and 5 all same Which means the other building is not that big of level and stronger than our main cast

Having that mindset that they are that low compared to those around them is the spark that spurs growth that Ego was looking for. He put the idea in their heads that there were top players getting the best of the best while they got the worst or lowest of the low. Makes the hunger to fight more intense in some perspectives.

And about the thing with the buildings: So there are 5 buildings, and basically every building is the same. Every building has teams v,w,x,y & z. And EVERYONE in those buildings was TOLD, that there were buildings 1,2,3 and 4 with better players, to motivate them to get better. So there never were any players from buildings 1-4,ego made it up. Summed up you can say that EVERY SINGLE BUILDING of those 5 went through the EXACT same treatment as the team z we know and the rest of the building 5 we know. They were all tricked into thinking that they were at the bottom,which motivated them to get stronger, because they thought that there were many players above them. I hope you kind of understand, I tried to explain it in the most understandable way possible xD.
