Did you not like that fire music playing at the Last Drop? And nah bro, 10 years is way too long, a bit unreasonable. Heimerdinger lives forever, so he doesn’t see time the way humans do, so he treats a whole decade like a year. Sure, the inventions need more time, Hextech needs more time, but not THAT much time. Just cuz Heimerdinger is old and wise, doesn’t make him always right. It’s true he’s old and outdated, and he sees time differently and much more slowly. He’s like, “yeah sure, we can wait, it’s no prob, cuz you know, I live forever”…. Humans don’t live forever. And it makes plenty of sense that everyone would not want the Hexgates deactivated. They literally said that ppl would lose income, it’s essential to trade and commerce. They were started three years prior to the episode, that’s plenty of time to build reliance on them. Also, you’re making wayyyyy too many assumptions about Mel Medarda, without anything having been revealed about her. She’s really not that easy to read this early.
