Yes! I also kinda low-key believe that Murasakibara feels some responsibility in”awakening” Emperor Akashi since it was his turning on his Captain and saying he shouldn’t have to listen to him anymore which led to that. So I think in Murasakibara’s case not cheering for Seirin is him trying to make amends for the disrespectful attitude he showed to Akashi before.

Such a small moment, but Murasakibara not cheering for Seirin shows how loyal he is to Akashi haha

Personally I also liked the old Akashi, his scenes were just way too BADASS for me not to like. Like when he ankle breaks and then just walks to the basket, when he puts them on they knees. Too epic for me not to like.

72-74 are my absolute favorite eps of Kuroko.
Yes good Akashi was ready to lose prior to swapping but playing Kuroko rekindled his desire to win. It's explained in the manga that he could have swapped at any time he wanted, but he stayed underneath because he wanted the emperor to experience total defeat. The emperor existed only for victory so losing would negate his reason to exist and he would disappear permanently. Akashi changed his mind at the last minute and saved the emperor from completely vanishing by swapping out.
