Zedrik’s hands try and resist but the mimic almost lovingly moves them away. Golborne ever the ally to the bugbear quickly takes the opportunity to make this memory last forever and takes a picture.

A request to revamp a weapon from Van Richten's Arsenal

Properties: Finesse, Light, Thrown (range 20/60), Nick
Also known as the Bane of the Ancients by Vampires, this dagger detects any such being within 500ft by throbbing.
This dagger has the power to instantly kill a vampire when struck. The ability can activate a number of times equal to the wielder’s proficiency bounce. The Vampire must make a Constitution saving throw DC 25 or be turned to dust. On a critical hit, the vampire automatically fails.
While wielded by a character of Good alignment, upon first drawing this blade it casts the spell Summon Beast. The Beast takes the form of a wolf that operates separately from your turn. It has the Land Beast stats with the additional effect of the Awaken spell casted on the Wolf. It is smart enough to follow orders but will always prioritize killing vampires.
While wielded by a character of Evil alignment, the wielder gains the ability to cast Vampiric touch in place of a melee attack using your dexterity as the spell modifier. Should the victim be a humanoid and die within 1 day of being attacked this way the wielder gains +1 to their Maximum HP.
Should The Diamond of the Sun be returned to its notch within the Bloodknife, the dagger becomes a +3 dagger and gains the ability to cast SunBurst 3 times per day. This spell can only target Vampires and is casted centered on the wielder. The charges regain at dawn.

This gem is the lost center piece of The Bloodknife. While most of its magic remains sealed within the gem, it can still be used as a spellcasting focus to Clerics, Paladins, Wizards, and Warlocks.
It glows Sunlight within 5ft at all times. Should the Vampire touch the gem without protection they must roll a Constitution saving throw DC:25. On failure, they are under the effects of a Cleric’s Channel Divinity: Turn Undead, the duration is increased to 24 hours.
