Great stuff as always! I've been thinking since this aired, and I figure Buddy with the head stiches is confident Itadori and Sukuna will be back, because, yeah, Itadori's only got 3 fingers of Sukuna, but he's the only one capable of being a vessel. Sukuna wasn't worried about losing 2 or three fingers, but he's gptta realize that Itadori's the only one he can get fully incarnated with, and it'll be a millenium or so before another vessel like Yuuji comes along. Fair motivation for bringing Itadori back from the dead. Stiches maybe knows this (betting stiches is one of the 'higher-ups') and is confident Sukuna isn't gonna let a chance to get all his distributed parts back in one body go to waste. That's what I think is going on, anyway.
