SUPER Excited to be doing more Saren content! One more YCH coming up after this one... and now for an added treat!

------------------------------------~🌅~✦🌿✦~🌳~----------------------------------------

Saren resides in Fyravanna, the lush agricultural capital of the world—a sprawling city where nature and growth are revered above all else. But beneath its verdant beauty lies a deeply ingrained prejudice against carnivores, a form of systemic speciesism that sees them as destructive predators who threaten the delicate balance of their ecosystem. The city’s laws and culture reflect this bias, fostering a sense of fear and mistrust toward those who hunt to survive.

Despite this, Saren has always been fascinated by carnivores. There is something captivating about their strength and their cultures—complex societies that often pay reverent homage to the lives they take. She is particularly intrigued by those who honor the Sparkless, the spirits of the prey they consume, blending their predatory nature with a deep respect for the cycle of life. And perhaps, though she would never admit it, there is a small part of her that is drawn to the danger—the sharp teeth, the primal energy, the wildness they exude.

Saren’s fascination began when she was just a calf. Accompanying her mother to the sacred cavern of the Elder Volcano, she beheld a sight that would change her forever: the magnificent elder god of Fyravanna, a dragon who existed in harmony with the land. He was not the fearsome beast of carnivore legends, but an elegant and lithe creature, his body gliding effortlessly through molten lava. His scales shimmered like a pearl kissed by fire, a pale white, while his molten eyes seemed to peer into her very soul. Standing before him, Saren felt something awaken within her—a fiery curiosity that rose up her long neck like lava spilling from the earth.

Ever since that day, she could never look at a dragon the same way. They became symbols of mystery and majesty in her mind, creatures that balanced destruction and creation in perfect harmony. Her fascination grew, not just with dragons but with all carnivores who shared the dragon’s raw power and reverence for life.

Tonight was different. What had started as a simple curiosity had blossomed into something deeper—a crush that left Saren blushing furiously anytime Serath’s gaze met her own. Despite Fyravanna’s ingrained bigotry toward carnivores, the city’s thriving trade routes meant a steady flow of travelers, including those who defied its herbivore ideals. Carnivores, however, often faced more scrutiny and obstacles than their plant-eating counterparts.

Serath was no exception. A dragon of undeniable grace and power, he moved through Fyravanna with an air of quiet defiance. On multiple occasions, Saren had crossed paths with him—whether he was running an errand or stopping to lend her an unexpected hand with her duties. Each encounter lingered in her mind long after he had gone, his presence both disarming and exhilarating.

But tonight, Serath was not merely passing through. Tonight, he lay bared before her, his strong body resting in quiet invitation. His grey scales glimmered in the fire light. The tension in the air was palpable, an unspoken understanding between them. He welcomed her—welcomed her to explore, to learn, to touch—and Saren was not about to say no.

Her heart raced as she stepped closer, every inch of her body alive with anticipation. This was more than curiosity now. It was a desire—a chance to connect with the creature who had captured her thoughts and challenged everything she’d ever known about Fyravanna’s world.
