Added 2022-12-05 01:48:30 +0000 UTCThis week I worked on further improving the desk setup, primarily hoping to fix an issue some have reported that caused the essential items like the control deck and monitor to disappear. I also reintroduced the transform gizmo to be used in the desk setup to make fine adjustments to each furniture item.
The desk setup has two new buttons: "Load Default" and "Pick Up All". Load default will cause all the furniture items to be placed into a default location that I've setup. Pick Up All will cause all furniture items that can be picked up (everything but the control deck) to be moved to your inventory, this will also be useful for those trying to get the "Fuckin' Blind" achievement to understand what is required.
Most importantly these buttons should help fix a game breaking bug that's been reported which causes the control deck to disappear, if you've experienced that issue try clicking "Load Default" and the control deck should be moved back to the desk.
I also changed the way that furniture items are moved and rotated from exclusively the drag and drop system, to using a hybrid between drag and drop and the transform gizmo. You can still drag and drop items by clicking and dragging them to a new position, however, now when they're dropped they will appear with the transform gizmo. This will make it possible to finely tune the position of each furniture piece instead of having to drag and drop multiple times and hoping for the best.
