Friday/Monthly Public Update

V0.11 has been released into the wild, per Patreon guidelines I can't post NSFW content outside of patron posts, but I'm rolling it out to the usual forums and places where I post updates. If there's a post out there that hasn't been updated feel free to contact me and I'll make sure it's remedied.

I've moved the pending full time transition from January 2020 to be effective immediately. I was very unhappy with the rate of progress I made with the last update as well as the accumulated stress of working two jobs. Moving forward updates should be much more frequent.

As far as what my schedule is going to look like I'm planning on working 3 hours in the morning after I wake up and 3 hours before I go to bed. This should minimize the delay between when a bug/issue is reported and when I can respond regardless of what time zone the reporter is in. This works out to 42 hours a week which would be 2-3 times the amount of time I had available before hand. I'll be taking one week of vacation every quarter (December, March, June, September) which will balance out the 2 hours extra per week.

I'm in the process of moving to a state with a lower cost of living so my life will be a little bit busier in the coming couple of months but there should still be a noticeable increase in pace.

Since I'm going to be working on development on a daily basis it would be technically possible for me to have "nightly" builds whenever something substantial was added. The issue is making a Patreon post every other day detailing what was added would quickly get annoying since there's no way for me to turn off the e-mail Patreon sends out. Also, getting something to a build-able state, writing up a report, and uploading the file also has some overhead to it that would require more work. 

If "nightly" builds are something that you would really like, let me know and I'll develop the infrastructure and put in the extra work if it's something that's popular enough.

That looks like about what I had in mind, though I think it'd look better if the joint was colored similarly to the rest of the body personally. In any case I think it's great you're considering that change. I made a typo there, meant to say Elesis-Knight. You may already know him for his high-quality lewd model of Shantae. If you've already commissioned some models then forget about it, though. Good to know about the engine. I know basically nothing about how games are made, so keep doing what you do. It'll be interesting to see how much of a difference you can make with the visuals by the time you get to the sequel with the experience you now have. (which I assume you will, seeing as you've commissioned models already)

The issue hasn't been brought up for years so I didn't think it was worth touching. I'll ask my patrons if they think I should change the models. I checked out Rafa Knight, he explicitly doesn't work on NSFW models according to his tumblr. I've already commissioned models for a sequel regardless. Engine isn't of significant consequence. Out of the box, Unreal uses more system resources to push better pixels, but nothing that Unity can't do. Actually, the biggest dog in the 3D smut game market, Illusion, uses Unity.

2. I'm realizing now that I didn't word what I meant quite right. What I mean is that because the models have sections on either side of the pelvis sort of "cut out" in order to make room for the metal ball joint and allow for freedom of movement the crotch/pelvic floor is very thin. Because of that the male character's dick clips out of the bots during vaginal and especially anal animations rather often, and it's especially noticeable with the Foxy maledom and Foxy + Chica teamup animations. The body proportions are fine. The main way I can imagine getting around that would be if the ball joint was surrounded by a large semi-sphere of silicone (or whatever sex bot skin is made out of) surrounding the ball joint on the outside, and the upper legs and pelvis (mainly ass) would be more complete, sliding over top of that ball. Maybe you'd need a different solution, but point is the problem is a bunch of the body is missing resulting in clipping, not that the pelvis is too small. If it's not feasable to change Disembowell's models like that maybe the right move would be to commission new ones. Rafa Knight does some great stuff that's not too far from Disembowell's style, and does commissions. It looks like to commission the whole gang from him fully rigged and all that would be pretty dang expensive at $3000 though. 3. Fair enough, though there are a lot of h-games that look a lot cleaner. If you were to make a sequel to FuckNAF maybe changing the engine as well as getting new models would be the right move. I've noticed Unreal seems to be getting used for a lot of top quality smut.

1. It depends. Character voice acting is expensive for an indie studio, all of phone girls lines are easily going to cost $1,000-$2,000 to commission. If I am going to end up paying for it, I'll want to make sure that I don't end up paying twice if I need to change some dialog, so it's been put off for now. 2. The models are pretty set in stone. The issue isn't so much replacing the geometry so much as it's an issue of re-rigging the new geometry to the old rigs. The "bones" of the rig are going to be relative to the old geometry so widening the hips would have to account for the offset of the old hips' placement vs the new one, it would be better to start from scratch in a new game and fix all the other issues with the models/rigs in one swoop. 3. Rendering and real time graphics is comparing apples and oranges. Pixar can take an entire day to render a single frame while games are expected to render a frame in 1/60th of a second or less. The model's UV's aren't setup properly for some of the tricks used by game engines since they overlap geometry in some places and aren't spaced out to reflect the actual surface area they represent. Disembowelled is also using his new models which aren't being released which just look better.

Great to see you're still making steady progress on FNAF. Some people may find it cringy but I don't mind something more on the silly side, especially when it's an adult parody. Two things I'm wondering about for the future... 1. Assuming things go smoothly, will phone girl (I assume that's her name) eventually have full voice lines, rather than just little sound bites here and there? Or maybe all the characters will be voice acted? I guess a better way to put it is how much of the game do you plan to be voice acted? 2. Regarding the models, one thing I noticed in particular with the recent Foxy scene as well as the Foxy+Chica combo scene is that the pelvis' of the bots are quite small, to the point that it isn't as wide near the anus as the male model's dick, which isn't even that big. I'm wondering how feasable it might be for you to have someone re-model them all for you to have larger pelvises for those scenes to work, and maybe more complete buttocks while they're at it while keeping the leg movement intact. It wouldn't be a ton of work for the modeller, seeing as all the characters use the same body colored differently. I could see that being a bit too much though, if you'd have to adjust a lot of animations. Even if that's too much, it might be something to consider should you ever do a FuckNAF 2. I know I'd personally like that, since it would allow for improvements like that, as well as better graphics. Disembowell's renders of the FNAF models makes it pretty clear they can look better than they do in FuckNAF, so I presume it's something to do with the engine and/or how you have rendering set up. Or I could be totally wrong, not exactly an expert on how video game visuals are set up.

Any idea when will be available the 0.11 on android, and it will have the Halloween event?

Mostly over sight, I'll have to make a dido toy for the toy box. The toy box is also getting bogged down with options for toys after the Halloween event so I'm going to start adding sub menus for different categories before I do that.

Nice. This is a good project by the way. Just don't forget to break when you need it. The last thing anyone needs is to feel burned out! Also is there any reason the dildo anims aren't in the toybox?

I think it would be better to have the free cam be part of the toy box. Eventually I'd like to have a single button in the toy box to have things setup to match each game over scene so that the toy box functions like a gallery mode. The next build will have a reworked Foxy Femdom scene and some new desk items and whatever is voted on in the content polls.

Nice to hear. Hope everything works out for you. Do you think you'd consider a free cam for scenes/cheats? Also, do you have a current focus for new builds?

Nightly builds would be cool and definitely should be announced on your Discord or website so you don't bog down you Patreon feed with little posts that may or may not be implemented. Also you could put them for higher tiers for promotional reasons.
