[HR] Honda Clarity PHEV study

Keen viewers will note that, indeed, the Honda Clarity's aesthetic is Extremely Me.

Gloss and metal, especially chrome, has been a pain in the arse for me to render in the past - so I'm trying to get as much practise in as I possibly can.

What was very interesting about this car was that its A-pillar (the front pillars next to the windscreen) are incredibly shallow. Normally, the A-pillars of a saloon car like this would eventually intersect with the centre of the wheel, but with the Clarity, you can see how the A pillar's slope is so shallow it barely touches the tangent of the front wheel arch. There is also an unusual amount of front overhang too, but whatever, a look's a look.

Again, I'm digging using the gouache brush for blocking, since it seems very effective in ensuring I don't spend too much time on details and getting gradation exactly right. Still could use some work on those proportions, though.

A really good use for the symmetry tool also seems to be rendering those hubs.
