[EARLY VIDEO] The Schynige Platte Bahn
Added 2025-10-30 10:04:04 +0000 UTCHello! Welcome to my second ever scripted international video, and the first one to be set in a not-predominantly-english speaking country. This video is unusual in that all the photography was done over 8 years ago, the last time I was out of the country. I actually wrote 95% of this script about a year ago, then sort of forgot about it.. I remembered recently, and it was a pretty straightforward process to finish it off. I'd love to get back to Europe again at some point, but it won't be happening for at least a few years until my kids are bigger.

Good question, I vaguely recall a few years back they were in financial trouble and needed a bail-out, that might have been covid related though.

Pleasantly surprised to see a contender for most beautiful Swiss railway that isn't the railways up the Jungfrau or the Matterhorn... (... although those are also very pretty and would make a lovely sequel to this one. :))
