Hi everyone, the bus replacement video will be up later this week - in the meantime, here's a very random bonus video. Over the past weekend I was in Sydney and the Blue Mountains, shooting a lot of trains in wonderful scenery. This wasn't specifically for the channel and I was mostly taking stills, but thought I'd share this one shot with you. Transport Heritage NSW was running shuttles between Penrith and Valley Heights in the lower Blue Mountains, with steam loco 3526 and diesel-electric Alco 4501. The train had an observation car at the 45 class end, and I filmed this climbing the grade between Lapstone and Glenbrook, through the immensely scenic Glenbrook Gorge (and Glenbrook tunnel). Please note the audio is just the GoPro microphone, which really couldn't handle the volume here - you'll notice a few strange things with the sound pulsating, I think that's the wind sound frequency fighting with the engine sound. In person it was one continuous roar.. especially though the tunnel! Anyway, hope you enjoy it!
