I still think the show is a shoot, with the exception of the bj/Cutler stuff. On the show WWE next gen they weren't friends, but they didn't outright hate each other. The powers that be in nxt probably figured to plant the seeds for a new Sami/Kevin rivalry for the next few years. Also I find it hilarious that BJ keeps accusing Cutler of having a giant ego. Cutler seems like on of the most respectable and coachable future great on the show.
