Fun reactions as always 🙌❤️ I absolutely love this and I'm all for there being cinematic matches from time to time. Some characters would also benefit from that. Hope everything is as good as possibly can be 🩷🌈

2025-04-09 20:19:35 +0000 UTCI forgot how good this match was. Even though they weren't all the best I wish we still would get a cinematic match every now and then. For the most part i found them really fun.

2025-04-07 15:13:28 +0000 UTCSo, I don't know how the match was written, but I remember Cena saying in an interview that he was the one who came with the concept of the match

2025-04-06 19:43:50 +0000 UTCFiend is a great character. But the cult leader imo had a potential higher ceiling. Absolutely loved that character and Harper and Rowan. No truer words were spoken when Cena said this SHOULD HAVE happened at WM 30. If only. But yes glad you enjoyed this 💯💯

2025-04-06 18:09:29 +0000 UTCThere are so many small details in this that make it clear that Bray was an absolute genius. From the multiple times he compares Cena to Hulk Hogan, to wearing an NWO Wolfpack shirt after calling himself “the color red in a world full of black and white”. The ending is brilliant. All the puppets in the firefly funhouse are clearly supposed to represent one of Bray’s insecurities, Huskus the Pig Boy obviously represented Bray’s weight insecurities. In the ending, John Cena’s response to getting called out on all his bullshit was literally beating up on Bray’s weight problems instead of just doing better. It’s only when John realizes that, that the Fiend emerges and throws all of Cena’s words about Bray being “the most overhyped, overvalued, and overprivileged” guy on the roster, right back at him. Fucking cinema. I have no clue how something so blatantly anti WWE was just allowed to air in the middle of Wrestlemania.

2025-04-06 17:47:26 +0000 UTCGlad y'all enjoyed it. I thought it was the perfect time to suggest it with not only finishing the Monday Night War series, but having also being shown Cena's debut. I think you can see why this is one of my favorite matches. And yes, my MWE character does pull a bit from Bray, as he is my personal favorite wrestler. As much as I enjoy the wrestling in any show, I really love the storytelling, and Bray Wyatt always delivered. ⭕️ 🔥🪰

2025-04-06 17:07:51 +0000 UTCThis Match makes me wonder what the original plan had covid not happen because this match type wasn't a thing before covid

2025-04-06 17:00:11 +0000 UTCI think we need Jim Cornette to help review this…”match”. This is the type of thing that gets a pass during Covid but it’s really not for me. However, it’s very memorable and creative. It’s definitely full of fun references. The “you can look but you can’t touch” was of course Nikki Bella’s song, and she had broken up with Cena a couple of years before. You caught the name Husky Harris but not sure you heard him say “you couldn’t manage my weight” which is a shot at Bray not being able to keep his weight under control. I do think Bray was heavily involved in most if not all of this. Next to Puppet Vince during the SNME set was a Puppet Jesse Ventura. Puppet Vince and Puppet H were featured on the WWE version of Botchamania called “Are You Serious?” All 52 episodes are still on YouTube and are very funny. Hmm, maybe I liked this better than I thought!

2025-04-06 16:41:05 +0000 UTCIt’s crazy such a damning deconstruction of not only John Cena’s character but also WWE as a whole was just allowed to happen in the middle of WrestleMania. I’ve said a few times that John Cena isn’t my favourite wrestler, at least character wise, he’s had great matches and performed great promos but I’ve never liked John Cena the character or bought him as this paragon Hero type. I mean, I understand that it’s hard to be a morally good, genuinely inspirational hero when the man writing these Heroes is completely morally bankrupt. So deconstructions like this and his current heel turn is a tad cathartic hehe. I totally commend Cena for being this open about the flaws of his career, some of which in this case, are on him, and now with his breaking point with the discourse around him over the years.
