Invisible Man vs Invisible Stan (TALLY TIME)

I quit listening to him in 2019, so I didn’t even know that that was his name for Seth. Listen, whatever you think about Jim, he is undeniably an amazing speaker, and the names he comes up with for people are hilarious, I don’t agree with all of what he says, and I like Kenny Omega, but Kenny Olivier is a great dig.

It's fine. When stuff I see is a little too obvious, I call it phony too. It's gotten to the point that I've even on occasion accidentally started calling wrestlers by the nicknames that Cornette called them, and I have to catch myself before I end up saying Seth Franklin Rollins instead of Seth Freakin Rollins.

Flynn Vicci

Understandable. It's not for everyone. I'm okay with traditionalists like Jim Cornette not liking it because it's not their cup of tea. As long as the traditionalists don't ruin it for the rest of us new age wrestling fans that do like it.

Flynn Vicci

Real. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to him, so I forgot that was his word.

This that real shit right here🔥😂

Ryan Evans

Calling it phony are you? Is that you Jim Cornette? Lol, I'm just kidding.

Hot take: this was better than Jimmy vs. Jey. But seriously, this match made me appreciate how much the ref does to sell the action.

I’ve got to be honest, 2017 Ian would’ve hated this, and honestly, the SNL style of comedy wrestling that most comedy wrestling is still doesn’t appeal to me and I think it is absolutely ridiculous and honestly cringe, I don’t even like intergender wrestling, which usually isn’t actually meant for comedy, but I still find it to be phony in a whole different kind of way Because, say what you will, but I like to lose myself in wrestling, so I like it to maintain a degree of believability on the show, when there are botches and things that doesn’t take me out of it because that’s not something that’s intended and those things just happen, but yeah, the intergender stuff is just unrealistic, not to mention I think it’s bad publicity and a big part of why I think something that was awesome like Lucha Underground went downhill, and that really isn’t just my opinion, that is a huge consensus as to why Lucha underground ultimately failed, there were other reasons, but the intergender stuff got way out of hand there, all that being said, there’s just something about this match man, I don’t know what it is, it’s undeniably hilarious and stupid at the same time, and I think that’s because everything is presented so seriously, and yet not serious at all. Like everyone from the ref and the commentators are doing what they would do if two actual wrestlers were doing the things we are imagining The Invisible Man and Invisible Stan to be doing, but you can tell that it is self-aware, but I just don’t know man, I can’t hate this, there’s just something mesmerizing about this whole thing, first of all it’s just so impressive that they managed to pull this off, and secondly, I actually don’t think this does anything bad for the image of wrestling when you consider that no one would take this to be serious in the first place as a genuine representation of what professional wrestling normally is, so what harm is there really in this? Anyways I really enjoyed this the first time I watched it on my own, I enjoyed the first reaction on this Patreon, and I enjoyed this reaction.

Ian Hernandez

They can never make me hate this match I get just as much out of a bloodbath like John Cena vs Umaga That I get out of a masterclass of stupidity and madness in this match I love my silly world of wrestling
