Yeah I'm a huge John Cena fan, but I wouldn't be suggesting so many Cena matches if it wasn't his final year. It's the last possible time to give you guys context for Cena's career before he retires. Otherwise, I'd be giving you other wrestlers bangers, but for the rest of this year, my submissions will be predominantly Cena matches.

2025-03-20 23:45:29 +0000 UTCI agree. They should've just added Edge to their Wrestlemania 20 match to get the double AA moment, and then had Cena and Edge solo it out at Wrestlemania. It's a shame that arguably Cena's top 4 rivals in Orton, Edge, Punk, and Styles never faced Cena in a one on one wrestlemania match. Cena's wrestlemania history is weird. I mean main eventing with The Miz in 2011, a mixed tag match against The Miz and Maryse in 2017, a past his prime Undertaker in a squash match in 2018, even Austin Theory in 2023. His Wrestlemania career is wacky. At least we've got Cody Vs. Cena in his last Mania match.

2025-03-09 05:37:51 +0000 UTCA couple of fun facts here from my own personal wrestling journey, this was my first wrestlemania, now I didn’t watch it live, but somehow, my mom recorded it for me or something so I got to watch it a little bit after the fact, which nowadays, would be kind of lame if you had to watch wrestlemania after you had already seen RAW and Smackdown and stuff, but this is 2009 folks, so times were different, and to 11-year-old me, this was so hype! Secondly, since y’all brought up the current state of affairs in the WWE, John Cena was my first ever favorite wrestler, and Cody Rhodes is my favorite wrestler of all time. Here’s something crazy, when I was a kid, I thought John Cena was so cool, that I told some kids in my fourth grade class that John Cena was my dad, and completely not realizing the utter ridiculousness of what I had done and trying to come up with a way to convince my friends that I was not in fact telling a lie, I told them they could come to my grandpa‘s ranch, where I lived at the time, and I asked my grandpa if he could dress up like John Cena, and if we could use floodlights and if he could buy a smoke machine so that way he could come out and maybe we could fool people into thinking that he was John Cena, and to nine-year-old me, this seemed like a perfectly sensible plan, as if my friends wouldn’t be able to see right through this illusion, although they might have been impressed by the theatrics, oh and also by the way, my grandpa was totally awesome and said he was down to do it, of course he never intended to do it, but of course, being nine years old, I eventually forgot about all that nonsense and so did my friends, so it was never a problem but all that being said, Cody Rhodes is my favorite wrestler of all time as I said before, and even though my childhood hero betrayed my all-time hero, I have to say, I am so on board for this, and I will boo John Cena with all my heart, not just because Cody Rhodes is my favorite, but because I know that’s what John Cena would want me to do, and whether or not he’s a bald fraud, I still believe in hustle loyalty and respect, and the best way to show my loyalty is to boo that man out of the building until he finds his way back onto the straight and narrow path.

2025-03-08 23:45:33 +0000 UTCThis match should’ve probably just been Cena vs Edge. I don’t dislike the Big Show, but it’s a shame we never got a John Cena vs Edge match at Wrestlemania. It’s the same reason I’m not totally on board with Reigns vs Rollins vs Punk. It would be a shame if Seth and Roman both retire without a Mania match.
