"ECW was lit" and you're damn right but at some point you're going to get some CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling) content and the reaction is going to be generational.

I love Josh's audible laugh at "He's fat!" and Tally's at "I'll make him bleed." Also, I think they edited the end of Paul's ECW promo because I swear he said "E C fuckin' W!"

Steamed Ham Champion Dillon Haggett

In WCW to answer y’all‘s question, yes the heavyweights and cruiserweights were portrayed a lot more like they are in boxing and MMA, where it would be ridiculous for say the UFC heavyweight champion to fight the featherweight champion, since it would generally be assumed that barring some sort of crazy fluke, the featherweight would just have no chance based on The physical differences between the two bodies, so the idea was that Bret was a coward for wanting to wrestle a guy that was like 50 pounds less than him, also, just so you can get an idea for how much wrestling has changed, the cruiserweight limit was 225 pounds, Chris Jericho was a cruiserweight, let that sink in. And I don’t mean like that’s what he would be if he wrestled back then, whether y’all know this or not, he was in WCW, and he was a cruiserweight, bro looked so much bigger than a lot of the other guys but still. If I’m not mistaken, Cody Rhodes is 222 pounds, so the current heavyweight champion of the world in WWE and the biggest wrestling star in the industry would have been a cruiserweight, and yes, cruiserweights were thought to be too small to be main eventers, so they were relegated to bottom of the card or mid card at best, if a cruiserweight ever did sniff the main event, it was because he was doing something with a heavyweight wrestler.

The point of this playlist is was mostly to get you guys caught up on a bunch of meme promos people reference often. I did throw in one actually good promo at the end. Also, about the Hogan promo, no one, to this day has any idea what the hell a “yapapi strap match is”. Googling “yapapi” brings you to that promo and people talking about that promo. And no one knew the rules going into the match. Hogan both pinned Flair and touched all four corners of the ring and I’m pretty sure the bell rang both times.

Fun fact, Jumping Jeff Farmer wrestled in NJPW as NWO Sting, and was actually super popular. Mostly because he didn't have to cut promos, and I'm not certain they knew he wasn't actually the real Sting.
