Cool. I hope they pay attention.

Big Ell

lol I said “great input” a second before Josh did when JBL said “I tried to survive.” Also Corbin would get rolled up and lose all the time.

And spoiler alert, they’ll be watching both from 2009

The frustration of you missing all 5 times they mention that the winner of this chamber is leaving with John Cena's title really paid off in the end. Good booking

G_Rez

Oh what a time it is to revisit this given recent events

Yeah, Dan Engler

Gotta love these 4AM delirious sessions, lol. This was super frustrating to watch but ultimately wound up hilarious. As soon as Cena was pinned the announcers said multiple times that we were guaranteed a new champion and it was NOT while you guys were chatting. But it wound up memorable and hilarious and that’s why we are ultimately here! For the record you’ve done 2005 (Edge cashed in after) and 2002 (the first one ever) Chamber matches.

Big Ell

as a huge bray wyatt fan forever this was one of the best nights i’ve had as a pro wrestling fan

punkfan6

the white striped ic title is the OG version. Cody brung it back during his Dashing phase

cmike5290 .

It was either Triple H or Jericho that said whoever designed the original Chamber had clearly never taken a bump before.

.631 points is the final verdict. Lost points due to not putting together that this was for the title. Although the moment it dawned on you guys was priceless lol. Love you Bray. You are missed, my friend.

Yeah the old 2002 chamber you watched they used all the way up until this looked a lot less safe, because it WAS. The reason they changed it is the same reason the Steel Cage isn't the 80's steel bar one anymore. The old floor between the pods used to be pure steel, taking bumps on that looked like it hurt so bad.

This is almost completely unrelated to a pretty good chamber match on the whole, but I gotta speak my truth. As a huge Moxley fan, he’s literally in my top 2 favourite wrestlers, his WWE theme is actually handedly my favourite theme he’s ever had in his entire career, more than Wild Thing, or Death Rider or Unscripted Violence, all are solid/good themes, but Retaliation is a Banger IMO, the motor engine type thing in the start is so good and gets me hyped, which is a part of wrestling themes I love, is that instant, it hits your ear and your in, quality. The only thing where I can be swayed is when the crowd sings wild thing because crowds singing the wrestlers themes is always a joy for me (even if it’s in a troll / joke way like Cena and Angle.) But Retaliation is a straight banger and I Love it. Fan Tirade over, hehe. The reaction was great though either way~

Yeah I agree on the sterilized looking chamber. The old one was so much more cooler and more menacing. Watch this then look back at the chamber where john defended the title only to be cashed in on by Edge. Totally different animal.

Ethan Sofinowski

The first Chamber with the new safe set up. This Elimination Chamber event was also to my recollection, the first WWE PPV to ever have three women’s matches on the card.

Steamed Ham Champion Dillon Haggett

I love this match.

Abs Ali

im glad you got to watch this, if i had been able to do a tally tier i was gonna search for it as my submission

I totally agree with you that the chamber looks like a playground lol, back in the day before 2017 the chamber actually looked dangerous and didn’t had padding on the outside, it was nothing but chain. It’s honestly sad that the woman never got to experience that chamber.

WWE Jay Gaming

The chamber used to be a lot more dangerous back then. If you look at the Survivor Series 2002 vid you did back in the summer compared to this, you'll probably see it. The floor doesn't hurt as much as it used to. I know the wrestlers are happy about that. Oh and just a side note, the announcer that said: "Mamma Mia" is Mauro Ranallo who was one of the commentators in the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson Fight on Netflix. He was also in NXT as well. Also, I would give you half a point.

Christopher Barnes

An interesting period for the WWE Championship. Cena previously beat AJ for the record 16th World Title, while Orton won the Royal Rumble as a member of The Wyatt Family. And then Wyatt won the belt from Cena in this match. While Orton vs Wyatt was definitely the logical choice based on the storyline that year, it's wild to see we missed the one & possibly the only chance to witness Cena-Orton rivalry on the grandest stage.

Nathan Morningstarz

A couple of points to make 1. You just witnessed the end of Cena's 16th world title reign. It's not important but i thought it was a fun fact 2. I haven't watched all of the watchalong yet so i don't know if you know, at this point, Orton was still in the Wyatt Family. So when he won the rumble, i figured it was obvious he would challenge wyatt 3. I hope one of the tally tiers suggest AJ vs Cena at the rumble that JBL was talking about early in the match 4. This was the good era of Corbin.

Matt Thunder

This chamber is safer and more merchandise friendly. The top of the pods used to be chain instead of steel grates and had a much lower ceiling so it was more dangerous to stand up there. And there wasn’t a plexiglass wall up there. Outside the ring never had padding before. Just metal. They never had those thick horizontal support beams on the chain walls either. And the pod doors used to be more flimsy and accident prone.

Gai Valentine

And he can once again “BEAT UP JOHN CENA”

Gai Valentine

I hope AJ can come back before Cena officially retires. We have to have them run it back once more they had too much chemistry not to.
