After this promo it would be another year and a half of the crowd booing Roman before the cancer promo, which would turn the crowd around for him, and another year after his return from that before he would begin his tribal chief run. WrestleMania 33 was maybe the ultimate turning point of "We're tired of Roman" transforming to "Ok now we legitimately hate Roman Reigns" and the booing went from we don't want you in the main event to we don't want to see you at all anymore

So Roman retiring the Undertaker bummed me out so much that it made me stop watching weekly WWE tv for like 5 years when they didn't do something interesting with Roman following this. 🤣

I saw Roman coming in and the match with Brock at Summerslam 2022 was my reintroduction. I knew the go away heat was strong but I didn’t know it was that strong.

Everyone saw it coming but we didn’t wanna believe it, so when it happened it was the biggest eye roll of my life. I think I stopped watching WWE right after this and have no regrets 😂
