I love Claudio and this is a great match for him but I just want to talk about how phenomenal a technical wrestler that ZSJ is, and especially as a heel. I know Tally mentioned how usually it would make more sense to go after one limb instead of more than one but I love the idea that he was trying to put Claudio in a win condition in any way he could. He knew Claudio was going to get energy from the crowd and he wanted to get him to submit in any way before he really had a chance to take advantage of that. It also makes sense because it attacks two of the things that Claudio uses most in his arsenal: his strength and his uppercuts. Attacking his base makes getting the strength for his power moves that much harder. Also, attacking multiple limbs means that every attack that Claudio does is causing more potential damage to that body part. In regards to the potential disqualification, I saw it as Zack knowing that the ref would not want to end a match of this magnitude and importance on a disappointing DQ so he took advantage of that leniency. I love how several times, Zack's undoing was his cockiness and taunting of Claudio. It played into the video package where he was talking about being the best technical wrestler and nobody was on his level. He feels that he is so good that he can taunt his opponent and they still aren't able to get one over on him because he is better and that cockiness led to him ultimately losing the match. I just think it's heel technical wrestling perfected and it's so fun to watch, especially because ZSJ is so creative in the holds he gets people in. Really fun match.

2024-12-01 00:39:43 +0000 UTCClaudio was rumored but there were a few other as well, i honestly don't remember who the others were, the reason the crowd went nuts is the swiss flag appeared on the tron and we all knew who it was since his music was different. That show is one of my favorite start to finish
