I was screaming at my tv in frustration to you when you were talking about the chokeslam and rock bottom. Glad to see someone cleared it up in the comments lol 😆

2024-09-22 08:20:20 +0000 UTCI figured it was TRUSTcompany because it sounded like the Royal Rumble 2003 which is also a TRUSTcompany song

2024-09-21 11:33:39 +0000 UTCI remember watching Judgment Day 02, which was only a few days after the name change and there’s a shot of Eddie Guerrero walking to the ring with a big WWF logo on the Titantron directly behind him. I think some of the titles had the WWF logo on them as late as August or September

2024-09-21 06:16:27 +0000 UTCFantastic match. Stole one of my potential submissions. Also important to note that this is after the first brand split, so Raw and SmackDown have separate rosters, but it’s before the introduction of the World Heavyweight Championship so the Undisputed Champion (as well as the Women’s Champion) would float between both shows like the Women’s Tag Champions do now. On this PPV Triple H chose his show because he was not drafted when the split happened because he was champion. The WWE Tag Team Championship were also originally exclusive to SmackDown but the champions would jump to Raw. That would lead to the creation of the WWE Tag Team Championships with the other set being renamed the World Tag Team Championships. The WWE Tag Team Championships would become the Raw Tag Team Championships in 2016 and then the World Tag Team Championships earlier this year. The United States Championship was deactivated at the end of The Invasion storyline as it was a WCW title, but would be Brought back in 2003. The Women’s Championship eventually became exclusive to Raw while SmackDown kept the Cruiserweight Championship, another former WCW title that they kept in favour of the Light Heavyweight Championship. Heheh you’ll be seeing more matches in the Joe Louis Arena in the next few months Josh my man. I’ve actually got a “Get the F Out” shirt as well as the shirt Undertaker wears to the ring. This is also widely regarded as one of the best triple threat matches ever. Josh you’ve actually already reacted to another one that’s widely regarded as the best, Lesnar vs Cena vs Rollins from the 2015 Rumble.

2024-09-21 06:15:55 +0000 UTCThe song playing during the promo package was “Downfall” by TRUSTcompany and you hit the nail on the head. It’s so early 2000s coded but so damn good My favorite of the Rock’s theme is the late 01’ return (the one played during his entrance, the tempo combined with the solos and wa pedal just hit different). Imo, It suited his character around this time. I often call this version of the Rock “Dwayne Johnson playing The Rock”

2024-09-21 02:18:48 +0000 UTCGood to see more Ruthless Agression stuff on here. Grew up in this era. This is probably my favorite version of The Undertaker. The theme is awesome too. Usually when Taker rides the bike out to the ring, it stays there whether it gets used or not. For the most part, he rides it back. Side note: This was like two months after they switched from WWF to WWE. That's why you still saw the WWF logo on the title, and saw the "Get The F Out" T Shirts. As soon as I typed that, you pretty much answered it. The Rock Bottom and Chokeslam are different moves. Jerry Lawler is the commentator that does the "AAAHHH" It's called the triangle choke, not Tribal choke.

2024-09-20 23:23:24 +0000 UTCthis version of Undertaker is a little more human and like a biker dude (obviously) so that might explain him tapping. I didn't even know they had him do that, can't imagine the normal version of him tapping.

2024-09-20 23:06:50 +0000 UTCThey never do the too exhausted to cover after a finisher anymore and I wish they did great way to protect the finisher.

2024-09-20 22:57:45 +0000 UTCYea I forgot how crazy the final minutes were💯🔥. And yes I do agree the key is breaking up the pins after finishers and not kicking out of finishers

2024-09-20 22:48:09 +0000 UTCRock Bottom is grabbing and lifting from the chest its Roman Reigns Uranage but also falling down with them. Chokeslam is grabbing them by the neck. Very similar though.
